A step up from your usual ‘pub grub’, dishes here at The Star are crafted from fine, locally sourced ingredients. Our menu centres on classic, traditional recipes, but with a creative twist - an approach which has seen the pub develop an excellent reputation among local foodies.

The pub, in Petworth town centre, is found right on Market Square. Convenient for the town’s residents and shoppers, it’s well located for visitors too – with short-stay parking right outside our front door. There’s more parking available just two minutes’ walk away.

Petworth House and Gardens is a National Trust property that attracts visitors throughout the year. Explore the house and its grounds, then head into town to peruse the local antiques centre and a wealth of diverse shops and boutiques.
